Year 6 Open Evening

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are delighted to invite you and your child to attend Outwood Academy Bydales Year 6 Open Evening, which takes place on Tuesday 26 September 2023, between 6:00pm and 8:00pm.

The evening will be our opportunity to showcase to you and your child all that Outwood Academy Bydales has to offer. You are welcome to attend at any point during the evening, but the event will begin with a presentation from myself in the Main Hall at 6:00pm. This will be repeated later in the evening should the hall be full for the initial talk or for parents who arrive later.

Once the initial presentation is complete we will have some of our students available as tour guides to show you around our building, but you will be provided with a map of the school should you wish to explore on your own. Each subject department will be offering exciting activities for your child to complete, giving you the opportunity to walk around the school and speak to subject teachers and leaders. All parents and children are welcome to view the different subject departments around the school.

Please arrive via the main car park. Entrances to the school will be clearly signposted and refreshments for all families will be available.

We are all very excited to meet you and your child, and we look forward to welcoming you to our school.
