Governors' Parent Voice

Each term the parents/carers of all students of Outwood Academy Bydales are invited to the termly Parent Voice meeting, which takes place in the Main Hall on varying days of the week (by parental request) from 6.00 – 7.00pm.

These are informal meetings organised by Governors of the Academy Council at which Mr Wappat, our Principal, provides a short update of the latest developments at the Academy, followed by an ‘Open Forum’ at which those present are free to raise any questions or queries about the Academy. If you are ever unable to attend this meeting or would prefer to send a written query or comment, parents can email the Chair of Academy Council, Mrs Tricia Taylor on:

Over the last three years, much has been achieved following suggestions by parents, to the benefit of all within the academy.

Please note these meetings are not an opportunity to discuss the academic or social needs of individual students, as queries concerning these are welcomed by direct contact with appropriate members of staff.
