Christmas Jumper Day - 22 December

On the last day of term, Student Voice organised our ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ in order to support their chosen charity, the Redcar Area Food Bank, via our SV Fundraising Sub-Committee. This event was something Student President Adam Williams was keen to continue during his campaigning during the SV election back in October.

Students were welcome to wear a Christmas jumper, either under their blazers or instead of a blazer, alongside their usual school uniform. There were some really imaginative examples as ever, and students brought in a donation of at least £1 to raise funds for our chosen charity. Alongside all the other Christmas themed events during the final week of term, this was a lovely occasion on the last day, in combination with our whole school Christmas Celebration Assembly from 2pm onwards.

Thank you to all the students and staff who went to the effort, it was worth it!

A fantastic £224 was raised by Jumpers alone, and the money was handed to Helen Hedges, of Redcar Area Food Bank during the Christmas Assembly Celebration.
