Each week on a Thursday, we host the ‘Mad Scientists Club’ during after-school Enrichment 2.30-3.30pm. All students are welcome to come along, apply some science, have fun and make new friends. Mr Haugh is the current scientist in residence so if you are interested see him for more details. In the past students have made rockets, designed strong bridge structures, completed challenges and destroyed eggs. What are you waiting for? Join in!

Slight change of plans from going outside and instead the session dedicated to building spaghetti bridges. Our mad scientists loved the idea of the rocket launch (see last week) being delayed due to an earthquake. Students were asked to design and test a bridge to get rockets to the launch pad. A fantastic 25 members in total today – increasing every week!
